To the lowly Ipheion- how do I love thee? Let me count the ways:
I love your bluish tinged foliage that pops up in November and lasts through the winter.
I love your tiny white bulblets that collect on the soil surface for me to pick up and plant elsewhere.
I love your strong, musky garlic smell that deters deer and rodents.
I love that you rapidly multiply and grow in sun or shade.
I love your blue, white, and pink flowers illuminating the February garden.
I love that you disappear after flowering and remain dormant for the long, hot summer.
